Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning Valentine’s themed dinner party for Amex, styled and planned by the talented team at Moriarty Events. The event was held in the beautiful Orangery at Beaverbrook and was an intimate affair with only 20 guests in attendance.

The theme of the night was love, and the colour scheme reflected that with shades of pink and red throughout the decor. The focal point of the table was a stunning arrangement of reflexed roses in varying shades of deep red, warm pink, and cream, running down the centre of the table. Each place setting featured a bespoke napkin with embroidered Valentine’s themed quotes in red, carefully placed on top of a hand-designed menu and tied beautifully with a bow.

The Japanese menu was expertly crafted and paired with a sommelier for a perfect pairing of each course. The guests were treated to a delectable feast, with each dish more delicious than the last. The sommelier provided an extensive knowledge of the wine pairings, which enhanced the entire culinary experience.

Love was truly in the air during this Valentine’s dinner, as guests enjoyed an unforgettable night filled with good food, good wine, and great company. The romantic setting, paired with the beautiful decor and delicious food, created a magical and unforgettable evening.
